Habitat Home built in 2017 - El Capomo

El Monteón, Nayarit, Mexico – 2019. I was a team member for a Habitat for Humanity Mexico project in a small Town called El Monteón just a few miles from the tourist town of Rincón de Guayabitos in the state of Nayarit, north of Puerto Vallarta. During this build we took some time off to visit a Habitat house built in 2017 by our team leader Orest and a team from Canada. It is in a small village (less than 1,000 populations) called El Capomo which is situated between La Peñita and Las Varas. Orchards appear to be the primary commercial activity surrounding the town.
